Cech Corporation is dedicated to providing Quality services
to our customers. We prove this commitment by our achievement in obtaining
accreditations to ISO quality standards – first to ISO:9001 in 1997,
then to ISO/IEC Guide 25 in 2000 and, after Guide 25 was amended, to ISO/IEC
17025 in 2001.
ISO/IEC 17025 is a technical standard which covers the
general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories
-- the most appropriate standard for the nature of our service-based business.
Cech Corporation is very pleased to announce a new development regarding our accredited calibration program. As of August 1, 2007 Cech will be working as a Distributor Field Representative under the Mettler Toledo Industrial A2LA accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025.
Cech has been a Premier Distributor with the Mettler Toledo organization for years and this program represents an enhancement of that relationship as we function under the Mettler Toledo Industrial A2LA Scope of Accreditation. For customers requiring accredited calibrations, this change will represent the following:
- Accredited calibration work performed by Cech Field Technicians now considered Approved Signatories by Mettler Toledo and A2LA;
- Expanded Scope of Accreditation via Mettler Toledo;
- Immediate data recording by technicians on laptop computers in the field;
- Calibration Certificates provided in electronic format;
- Calibrations performed under the name of the most respected company in the weighing industry.
What hasn't changed for our service customers who require accreditation:
- Calibrations performed in accordance with approved and documented procedures using a quality system based on technical competence;
- Traceability of calibration standards to NIST;
- Maintenance of service records and documentation;
- Formal system of review and resolution of complaints and non-conforming services / products.
